We make every effort to provide a safe and loving environment for children Newborn - 5th grade.

AWANA Clubs

The AWANA Clubs are starting up again September 15th!

Cubbies: 2 years prior to K

Sparks: K-2nd grade

T&T: 3rd-5th

These clubs meet Wednesdays at 6-7:30 here at FBC.

Nursery

Kids' Ministry

We are committed to loving and nurturing our little ones with the love of Jesus Christ. For the safety of our children, all nursery caregivers are church members or regular attendees who have completed a voluntary background check processed and filed through the church office.

Our loving and dedicated staff and volunteers would like to let you know that we consider your children precious gifts from the Lord, and we look forward to ministering to them throughout the year!

FBC KIDS WORSHIP

The children's church program happens during the church service. Children will be dismissed after worship songs. We receive children 4 years old through 5th grade.

Nursery Program

The nursery of First Baptist Church is committed to loving and nurturing our little ones ages 0 to 4 with the love of Jesus Christ.

Illness Policy

Nursery is for well children only.

Children cannot be in the nursery if they have any of the following symptoms:

Fever within the last 24 hours
Vomiting/diarrhea within the last 24 hours
Any unexplained rash
Any skin infection
Pink eye or any other eye infections
Head lice

Check-In Procedure

Children must be dropped off by a parent or guardian.
The parent/guardian will need to fill out the sign-in sheet.
Parent/guardian will then be assigned a numbered pager.
Volunteer will write child’s name and pager number on a sticky label and affix it to the child’s back.

Check-Out Procedure

When parent/guardian arrives, the volunteer will match the pager number with the number on the child’s back.
Children cannot be released to any person who does not present the corresponding pager.

Snack Time

Snack includes apple juice and graham crackers/puffs.

Volunteers Needed

Must be approved by FBC Pastoral Staff.
Must be a church member or affiliated with the church for at least 3 to 6 months.
Must be a regular church attendee.
Youth volunteers must be 12 years old to serve

Safety

There is a camera located in the infant room, check in station, toddler room, and snack room.
Adults must have a criminal background check every 2 years.
Infant room is 1 adult per 2 children.

Children are placed in the infant room until they are steady walkers.
