Children

Luke 18:16

But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Our Mission Is...

We exists to partner with parents to help children to know God intimately, to love God with all their hearts for all their lives, and to share God with the world. We aim to inspire and equip children to become world-changing disciples God created them to be in their backyards, schools and beyond.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.  –Matthew 5:16

Safety and Security

Background Checks/Volunteers

All volunteers have current background checks and get them renewed every 2 years. Our check-in process does not allow for anyone but trusted adults/legal guardians over 18 to pick up.

Security

We have cameras in all the rooms that have children programming. We also have a safety and security team that keeps the building secure during our Sunday and Wednesday programming.

Nursery (0-2)

Our infant/toddler nursery is for ages 0-2 years old. Parent/guardian will then be assigned a numbered pager during check-in. Parent/guardian will be assigned a numbered pager during check-in as well as a security pick-up code.

Nursery (3's Pre-K)

Attached to the nursery, our 3's Pre-K room has slightly more structure with play, music & movement and a lesson all geared towards their age group. Parent/guardian will be assigned a numbered pager during check-in as well as a security pick-up code.

Pre-K (4's)

Children 4-years-old have their own Preschool classroom with a curriculum set up just for them, curriculum includes, play, story time, music & movement and an activity. Parent/guardian will receive a security pick-up code that matches their child's name tag.

Kindergarten-3rd Grade

Kindergarten through 3rd grade meet together for worship, lessons and games. Parent/guardian will receive a security pick-up code that matches their child's name tag.

4th-5th Grade

Our 4th and 5th graders love having their separate space and look forward to their lesson, discussion and games. Parent/guardian will receive a security pick-up code that matches their child's name tag.

6th-12th Grade

6th-12th graders stay in the service on Sundays. Once a month we have a "Youth Connect Sunday" where we all meet together during the sermon in the Underground (our Youth room).

Check-ins!

Check-ins help everyone stay secure. We have kiosks located in our main hallway. See the video below on how to use our check-in stations!

Are you new?

Our first priority is the safety of your child, but we also care about the flow of your Sunday morning too. We have a secure check-in system that uses kiosks and coded tags, but for first-time guests, we do this part a bit differently: kids stay in the worship service until after the music portion is done, and when the kids are released for their "FBC Kids" time, you can follow the crowd of them to the kids wing with your child to meet their teacher and get them registered.

You can find a host and do this prior to the service during a tour as well if you prefer! Of course you are welcome to keep your child with you during the service if that makes everyone more comfortable too.

In order to use our kiosks for check-ins, we have to input your information into our system. If you'd like to do this ahead of time (or maybe you've visited us a few times but haven't checked your kids in before) we would love to have that set up to make your morning easier! Fill out the form below!

AWANA Clubs

Awana Clubs is built on a 3B ministry philosophy of child discipleship: Belong, Believe, Become. Children build spiritual resilience when they feel they belong to Jesus, when they believe in the truth of the Bible and then become disciple-makers in their own right. FBC Awana Clubs are for ages 4-years-old through 5th grade. Click below for our 2023/24 Calendar.

At Awana, we focus on Leader-Child relationships, Bible Engagement and Spiritual Development. This is done through large group time, handbook and verse memorization, and of course, GAMES!
