One hundred and fifty years ago...
...in April, a small group of believers gathered in a humble wooden building, lit not by chandeliers but by the light of their faith. They could not have imagined that their prayers, sacrifices, and their steadfast love for God would echo through a century and a half, bringing us here today.
Imagine the year 1876. The world was different, but the Gospel was the same. Our founders planted a seed of faith in this community, and today, we stand in the shade of that great tree, still bearing fruit.
As we celebrate this milestone, let us not only look back with gratitude, but forward with courage. Let's be the generation that carries the torch of faith so that 50 years from now, another generation will gather here and say, "They were faithful." May we continue to be the hands and feet of Christ in this community, for His glory and His kingdom.
How Are We Celebrating?
